2015 Lo Family Scholarship Fund for Chinese and Hong Kong Students at University of Kent, UK

Applicants are invited to apply for the Lo Family Scholarship Fund which is providing by the University of Kent in the UK. Applicants must have been offered an unconditional place to study on a University of Kent postgraduate business degree programme. The value of the scholarship will be a sum of £5,000 (for one year maximum).

  • either hold a valid passport issued by the People’s Republic of China or be permanent residents of Hong Kong.
  • have been assessed as overseas for fee purposes.
  • been offered an unconditional place to study on a University of Kent postgraduate business degree programme.
  • have accepted or will accept by 31 May 2015 an offer of a place to study at the University of Kent.
  • have already achieved or will achieve an agreed level of academic performance in their academic study prior to starting their programme at Kent.
  • be able to provide evidence satisfactory to the University of adequate knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • be able to fund the remaining costs of their studies at Kent from other sources.

Scholarship Open for International Students: University of KentStudents from China and Hong Kong are eligible to apply for this scholarship fund.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship is awarded for one-year maximum.

What does it cover? The value of the scholarship will be a sum of £5,000 (for one year maximum).

How to Apply: Complete the International Scholarship application form which will include an original essay of between 750 to 1,000 words on the question: ‘Why have you chosen your selected degree programme; why have you applied to the University of Kent; and how do you see your degree at Kent preparing you for your life after graduation?’. Once you have completed your application form please save this and then submit this via your student application portal.
