Eligibility: The scholarship is available for a one year taught masters programme in any subject. Applicants must be resident in one of the following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Scholarship Description: One award of £33,000 is available for a student from a South East Asian country who has an offer for any taught master’s programme in 2015/16. This scholarship has an affiliation with the Saw Swee Hock South East Asia Centre(SEAC), the successful recipient will become a research associate of the centre.

Notification: Selection for this scholarship will take place between May and July 2015 and the university will notify the successful recipient(s) by the end of July 2015. If you have not heard from the Financial Support Office by the end of July 2015, you must assume your application has been unsuccessful.

How to Apply: To be considered for this scholarship, you must have completed the 2015/16 LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form and received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) by 5pm 27 April 2015. You must complete Section G – Personal Statement. When you submit an application for admission to a taught masters programme, the Graduate Admissions Office will acknowledge your application and provide information about how to set up an LSE For You online account. This account will allow you to track the progress of your application for admission, and will provide you with access to the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application Form.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is 27 April 2015.
