Scholarship description: Part of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), CEH is the UK’s centre of excellence for research in the terrestrial and freshwater environmental sciences. This exciting research opportunity will allow the successful incumbent to work towards gaining a PhD by investigating the role of metal binding protein in nanotoxicology using a laboratory model organism within the framework of the Nanoparticle Training of Experts in Safety (NanoTOES) project. The PhD project will be collaborative with the Department of Materials Science, University of Oxford, who will ultimately award the doctorate subject to thesis completion and viva.,
