Students required to undertake English at Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI) will be offered a bursary that covers 5 weeks of English.

- To apply for admission to the LLM program, a student must have completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent, and no less than four years of full-time study at a university or other approved educational institution and satisfied the minimum entry requirements of the LLM program. In some circumstances, consideration may also be given to students who have more than two years of relevant work experience.
- Candidates for the LLM program must also demonstrate English Language competency (with an IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6, or equivalent) to the Admission Criteria Selection (Higher Education Courses) procedure before commencing study.
