Scholarship Description:

  • Application Deadline: November 2, 2018
  • Course Level: Scholarship is available for the masters degree program.

  • Number of Scholarships: One scholarship is available for award each year.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • Eligible Countries: Scholarship is available for Australian, international and EU students.
  • Entrance Requirements: To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, an applicant must have completed:
    The Bachelor of Science with a major in Agricultural Science; or
    The Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) with a major in Agricultural Science;
    Have applied for admission in to, or be eligible to enroll in, a master’s degree by coursework and dissertation offered by the Faculty of Science; and
    Demonstrate an interest in research related to agricultural productivity in grain crops with an emphasis on light soil types in Western Australia.
  • English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

How to Apply: Applications are called for by Coursework Scholarships and Prizes and must be submitted by the advertised closing date.

  1. Applicants must include-
    • a research proposal abstract (max 2500 words) which must address the eligibility requirement 8(c) and that covers—
      • the hypothesis;
      • background;
      • aims and objectives; and
      • significance and outcomes; and

(b) A curriculum vitae.
