Students in grades K-12 are invited by NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia to draw, paint or design what’s next in science, aeronautics, and exploration in the NASA Langley Student Art Contest held in 2023.
The NASA Langley Student Art Contest focusing on major innovations in space technology, aeronautics and Earth science is open to participation from all domestic students who identify as children in grades K-12 attending public, private, parochial, and homeschools. Applicants must submit original artwork. The selected students will be awarded a certificate and a NASA Exploration package of goodies.

NASA’s Langley Research Center focuses its operations on improving commercial air transport markets with the help of the integration and maturation of key aviation and convergent technologies and experimental flight demonstrations. The center also develops, designs, and demonstrates operational areas concerning Earth and Moon to Mars.
