Qatar Airways is welcoming applicants for National University Studies Scholarship Programme to pursue an undergraduate and postgraduate degree. The scholarship is exclusively open for Qatari nationals.

The aim of the scholarships is to assist people to pursue further levels of academic study

Scholarship Description:

• Course Level: The scholarship is available to pursue an undergraduate and postgraduate degree.
• Study Subject: The scholarship is awarded in full range of subjects from aviation management to journalism to business.
• Scholarship Award:  As part of Qatar Airways commitment to Nationalisation we have an exciting National University Studies Scholarship Programme which sponsors Qatari students to attend academic studies (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) at educational institutions in the State of Qatar or overseas.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

• Eligible Countries: Qatari applicants can apply for the scholarship.
• Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Be a Qatari National (or Qatari mother).
  • Qatari Applicant
    1. Valid Secondary school certificate for the current or the previous year.
    2. Obtain an overall 80% or equivalent in High School with a minimum 80% in Math, English and Science.
    3. English proficiency as below:

    a)     IELTS: 5.5 not less than 5 in each component (not less than 5.5 in Writing and Reading each).

    b)    TOEFL CBT: 196, TOEFL iBT: 70

    Qatari Mother Applicant

    1. Valid Secondary school certificate for the current or the previous year.
    2. Obtain an overall 90% or equivalent in High School with a minimum 90% in Math, English and Science.
    3. English proficiency as below:

    a)     IELTS: 6 not less than 5.5 in each component (not less than 5.5 in Writing and Reading each).

    b)    TOEFL CBT: 196, TOEFL iBT: 70
  • Pass the Company’s medical test.
  • For High School fresh graduated student, you must completed National Service unless the university offer is produced from list of universities approved for the Emiri Scholarship Programme.
  • Obtain a police clearance certificate.
  • Pass a personal interview with the Company.
  • Accept the department and work location assigned by Qatar Airways.
  • Offer letter from a University and in a field approved by the Company.(Foundation under Third party are not acceptable)
• English Language Requirements: IELTS: 5.5 not less than 5 in each component (not less than 5.5 in Writing and Reading each).
