2016 NHS Foundation Trust Psychology Graduate Internships In UK

Applications are invited to apply for the Psychology graduate internships and undergraduate placement programme which starts on 3 October 2016. Psychology undergraduates can only apply if they will have graduated by the time their internship placement starts (October 2016).

International students can apply as long as applicants are legally eligible to work and remain in the UK, and their qualification is equivalent to a UK psychology honours degree.

Eligibility

A psychology undergraduate placement is for students who are between their 2nd and 3rd year of study. Students whilst on their placement are still enrolled on their psychology degree and are therefore supported by their student loans. These placements are organized in partnership with universities who require students to be on placement for a full academic year (starting in October) and be at work at least 4 days per week.

Internship Open for International Students: Yes, as long as applicants are legally eligible to work and remain in the UK, and their qualification is equivalent to a UK psychology honours degree.

Is this paid internship? The internships are voluntary. Travel expenses can be claimed up to £18 a day.

Internship Duration: The psychology graduate Internship programme provides a framework for psychology graduates to volunteer with teams for 1 to 3 days a week, for a period of 3 to 12 months.
