The Northwestern Polytechnical University President Scholarship Program is now available for foreign citizens who are in good physical and mental health.

For this scholarship, all applicants must have a senior high school diploma with satisfactory academic performance and be 18 to 30 years of age.

Undergraduate Scholarship Application Conditions

2) Foreign citizens, in good physical and mental health; P.S. Applicants must hold a valid passport or valid certificate for at least 4 years and have a two-year record of residence in their country in recent 4 years.

3) Aged between 18 and 30 years old (by September 1, 2021); For the applicants under 18, please bring the relevant supporting documents (Notarized Certificate of guardian in China) to the official registration.

4) Applicants should have good academic marks(see the table below for details)

5)Certificate of English or Chinese Proficiency Level (depends on the language medium ): HSK, TOFEL, IELTS, or GRE, etc.

Postgraduate Scholarship Application Conditions

1) Applicants should comply with Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and habits and abide by the regulations and disciplines of the NPU.

2) Foreign citizens, in good physical and mental health; P.S. Applicants must hold a valid passport or valid certificate for at least 4 years and have the two-year record of residence in their country in recent 4 years.

3) Those who apply for a master’s degree in China must have a bachelor’s degree. The age of applicants is not more than 35 years old. Those who come to China for a doctoral degree must have a master’s degree. In principle, they must be no more than 40 years old and in a good health condition.

5) Applicants should have good academic marks. GPA from previous (latest) school must be: 3.0 or above (out of 4.0); 3.75 or above (out of 5.0); 75 or above (out of 100).

Benefits

The scholarship includes a full award and a partial award. For full award winners, tuition, accommodation and insurance charges are waived. In addition, the scholarship will provide a monthly allowance as follows:

• 1,500RMB/person/month for Bachelor’s candidates
• 2,000RMB/person/month for Master’s candidates
• 3,500RMB/person/month for PhD candidates
• For the partial prize winners, tuition fees are waived
