This course is open to anyone interested in learning the principles of visualization and infographics for effective communication, and about how to apply them using d3.js. When a previous session of this course was offered in the Spring, maximum enrollment was reached in just a week. Students from 53 different countries registered.
The online course is hosted in English at JournalismCourses.org, the distance learning program of the Knight Center. It will be taught by two experts with extensive experience in data visualization who are also authors of reference books in the field. Included in this fee is the cost of the certificate of participation in PDF form, which will be issued by the Knight Center after verification that a student has met the minimum requirements at the end of the course.
