Scholarship Description: The graduate program BBW-ForWerts will operate like a Graduate School, which will coordinate state-of-the-art research activities in different universities and research institutions across Baden-Württemberg. The program is coordinated by Heidelberg University (coordinator: Prof. Dr. Thomas Rausch), in administrative collaboration with the Hartmut Hoffmann-Berling International Graduate School of Molecular and Cellular Biology (HBIGS), which offers logistic support. Training of PhD students will involve, besides the specific PhD projects, a broad range of skills, allowing the successful candidates to later enter professional careers with abroad and solid background knowledge in bioeconomy issues, irrespective of the specialization of the individual research project.
