-A strong desire to work at the leading edge of measurement science and a high level of motivation to work in an international, multidisciplinary research team in the field of materials science are essential.

-Knowledge of English (oral and written) is important and knowledge of German or French would be an advantage.

-Experience in Raman spectroscopy would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Description: We are looking for postdoctoral researchers with qualifications in Raman spectroscopy and either physics, chemistry or materials science. Research is conducted in an international environment, in cooperation with several industrial and academic partners. Stable funding is provided through long-term European projects. Successful candidates will be able to assist in the development of a novel in-situ Raman spectrometer inside a scanning electron microscope/focused ion beam system (SEM/FIB) the development of a novel tip-enhanced Raman spectrometer (TERS) for nanoscale resisdual stress measurements.
