Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Irish and overseas students can both apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate programmes offered at the University College Cork can be applied for. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must participate in a sport recognized by Sport Ireland.
  • The applicants must be able to provide evidence that they are competing at the highest available level in their chosen sport and have the identifiable potential for further improvement. 
  • The applicants will be expected to act as ambassadors for UCC and the Quercus Talented Students’ Programme in terms of their participation in their chosen sport.
  • The applicants must have accepted an offer of a place at University College Cork through the CAO or the International Office.
