This scholarship is available to students who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate business program (major), engineering program (major), or related major working toward a bachelor’s degree, at an accredited two-year or four-year US institution. Students must have completed at least 60 semester hours to be eligible. All scholarship winners receive a non-renewable scholarship of $1,000 payable directly to the institution in which they are enrolled. Scholarship will available in March.

ACS Scholars Award for College Sophomores
ACS Scholars Award is open to African American, Native American and Hispanic students. Applicants must be college freshmen, sophomores or juniors currently pursuing or planning to pursue full-time study in a chemically related field. Scholarship amounts $3,000 for sophomores. The application deadline is March 1.

The Association may annually award up to two $750 scholarships for each academic year. For High School Seniors – Four-year Scholarship (up to two awarded each academic year) and College Sophomores – Two-year scholarship (up to two awarded each academic year). Applications must be submitted to SDEA no later than Friday, March 6.
