Funding are available to South African Honours, Masters and Doctoral students who are registered for full time study in any area of Engineering, Commerce and Business Management at the University of Cape Town

Scholarship Description: The John Davidson Educational Trust has funds available for bursaries/financial assistance for postgraduate students studying in Engineering, Commerce and Management at UCT. The funds are available for overall assistance, or for particular grants for tuition, board and lodging and/or prescribed reading material.
Preference will be given to students with suitable records of academic performance who are, in the opinion of the Trustees, in need of financial assistance. The Trustees will take into account the applicants’ career plans, and whether or not the applicants intend to make an ongoing contribution in the Southern African economic and social environments.
These scholarships are available to Honours, Masters and Doctoral students who are registered for full-time study at the University of Cape Town in any area of Engineering (with the exception of Architecture) Commerce or Business Management. Only students who have achieved 60% and over for their two undergraduate major subjects, or their Honours degrees, or for the Masters (by coursework) degrees are eligible. Students having achieved their Masters degrees by dissertation are required to submit a letter of motivation and comment on their academic standing from their supervisors or Heads of Department.
