SRISTI (Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions) is inviting applicants for its Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Awards. The awards are available for Indian students.

The aim of the award is to encourage the creativity of students and thus request teachers to support them in the Honey Bee Network movement’s effort to promote young innovators by sharing the announcement with them.

SRISTI, a non-governmental organization, was set up in 1993 to help in the documentation of innovations and TK practices discovered by the HBN. The HBN and SRISTI were both founded by Prof Anil K Gupta of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Scholarship Award: Award will cover the following:

  • Rs 15, 00,000 grants will be given for further research/prototype development and possible entrepreneurship development work to each of the 15 awardees in the medical device and biotech area.
