Higher education in Swaziland which is regulated by the national ministry of education is recently improving and providing more opportunities to students. It consists of seven institutions of higher learning including publicly funded universities, publicly funded polytechnics, specialized colleges and privately funded accredited universities and colleges. Bachelor’s programs in Swaziland typically last four years and it is generally divided into two semesters per academic year. Full time master’s degree programs are of three years, while part time programs take four years to complete. Doctoral Program in Swaziland is only offered in one field- agricultural education by the primary public university of Swaziland. Moreover, in order to develop science and technology knowledge in the country, the public university has recently started an electronic engineering program.
