Taliesin Nexus is offering The Odysseus Fellowship for the year 2016. Odysseus Fellows are placed in paid three-month internships at leading Hollywood production companies.  Successful applicants are young, liberty-inspired filmmakers or other creatives pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Interns will receive: Placement at a production company; a stipend of up to $5000 or school credit; possible travel reimbursement; Mentoring and Automatic acceptance into the Apollo Film & TV Workshop. In addition, Taliesin Nexus will help cover their travel costs to and from L.A. (if necessary).

Eligibility: –The perfect candidate for the program would be a recent film school graduate or someone with some writing or filmmaking experience and/or training, but not someone who has already enjoyed a substantial career (after all, this is an opportunity for those who haven’t had their real shot yet). You must have completed at least one screenplay or short film/video that you will include with your application.
-If you are a current student (and over 21), and you can earn school credit for participating in an internship, and you do not need the stipend, you should indicate this on your application form (in the “referral/other notes” section), as we may be able to add an extra space for you (because our budget allows for only a few stipends per year)

Internship Open for International Students: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this internship programme.

Is this paid internship?
