Trent University Scholarships for International Students in Canada, 2020

Applications are invited for Trent University Scholarships from international students to pursue an undergraduate degree program. There are two types of scholarships available i.e. Trent international global citizen scholarship and designated international scholarships.

These scholarships and awards are tenable for up to four years of an Honours degree if a “B” average is maintained each year and are available for students entering the University in September.

Eligibility:

  • Trent International Full Scholarships: Outstanding academic achievement (top 3 in class), community and/or international service, excellent record of extra-curricular activities and leadership, as well as an assessment of financial need.
  • Justin Chiu Global Citizen Scholarship: Outstanding academic achievement (top 3 in class), community and/or international service, excellent leadership, as well as an assessment of financial need. Open to students from Asia.
    Trent International Tuition Scholarships: High academic achievement (top 5 in class), community and/or international service, excellent leadership, as well as an assessment of financial need.
  • Trent International Levy Tuition Scholarship: Based on high academic achievement (top 5 in class), community and/or international service, excellent record of extra-curricular activities and leadership as well as an assessment of financial need. Open to students from developing countries.
  • Trent International Awards and Trent Scotiabank Awards: Good academic achievement and a record of extra-curricular activities. Preference is given to top candidates in a scholarship competition.
  • Trent University-United World College Scholarships: Open to UWC graduating students nominated by their home UWC. Based on outstanding academic achievement (top 5 in class), community and/or international service, excellent record of extra-curricular activities and leadership, as well as an assessment of financial need.
  • Jack Matthews International Full Scholarship (Pearson College of the Pacific): Open to graduating students from Pearson UWC of the Pacific and nominated by Pearson UWC, based on outstanding academic achievement (top 5 in class), international service, excellent record of extra-curricular activities and leadership.

Justin Chiu Global Citizen Scholarship: 1 every 4 years
Trent International Tuition Scholarships: 4-7
Trent International Levy Tuition Scholarship: 1
Trent International Awards and Trent Scotiabank Awards: Varies, depending on the number of qualified applicants.
Trent University-United World College Scholarships: 1-3

  • How to Apply: Applications for Designated International Scholarships and Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships should be submitted via mail or e-mail.

Scholarship Application Deadline: January 15.
