Tzu Chi Scholars Program for High School Seniors in USA, 2015-2016

Tzu Chi award is available to outstanding college-bound high school graduates from USA. Students will enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the academic year 2015-2016. Each Scholar will receive an award of US$1,000. A small number of Scholars may be further recognized for a four-year total Award of up to US$4,000 if certain eligibility requirements and criteria are met. The application deadline is March 2, 2015.

-be an U.S. high school graduating senior or equivalent (Foreign students on student visa not included)
-demonstrate financial need for college tuition
-have a minimum 3.0 GPA
-will enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the academic year 2015-2016

Tzu Chi Scholars are selected on the basis of their financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement. Each Scholar will receive an award of US$1,000. Notification: Tzu Chi Northwest Region Award will be announced via e-mail by mid May, 2015. There will be a scholarship award ceremony at Tzu Chi Northwest Regional Office in June 2015.

How to Apply: Please send (postal mail, email, or fax) your application package to Tzu Chi Foundation’s Regional Office in your area.

Application Deadline: All application documents must be received by March 2, 2015.
