2015 UNCF Catherine W. Pierce Scholarship in Art or History, USA

The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) invites applications for Catherine W. Pierce Scholarship to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. The student must be enrolled full-time at a U.S. accredited 4 year institution for the 2015-16 academic year and have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Scholarship is available only for U.S. students who are permanent resident. Up to 7 scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded. The application deadline is June 24, 2015.

Eligibility:
-The student must be enrolled full-time at a U.S. accredited 4 year institution for the 2015-16 academic year and have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
-Minimum GPA: 2.5
-Ethnicities: African American/Black, American Indian – Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, Hispanic American, Caucasian
-Residency status: U.S. Citizen, U.S. national or permanent resident
-academic classification: High School Senior, GED, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Master’s Student

Scholarship Open for International Students: UNCFScholarships are available only for U.S. students who are permanent resident.

Scholarship Description: Catherine W. Pierce scholarship was established to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. Mrs. Pierce had a great interest in helping deserving students pursue the fields of Art or History.

Number of award(s): Up to 7 scholarships will awarded.
