University of Tartu Scholarships for Master’s Programmes in Estonia, 2019

The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships available to candidates at the University of Tartu. The awards are available for pursuing masters degree programmes.

To be eligible for master’s studies, applicants must have completed bachelor’s studies or equivalent qualification or be about to graduate in spring/summer 2016. IELTS (academic) – the minimum required score is 5.5.

  • Eligibility: Applicants are required to meet all admission requirements and submit the full package of application documents (please find more information on the website of your chosen study programme). All applicants from target countries applying for the eligible programmes are automatically considered for the programs.
  • Nationality: The programs will be given only to residents of Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Afghanistan.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Applicants are required to meet all admission requirements and submit the full package of application documents (please find more information on the website of your chosen study programme). All applicants from target countries applying for the eligible programmes are automatically considered for the program. This program is allocated to the best applicants based on the admissions ranking lists (each programme separately). Only well-motivated candidates with good academic performance and properly prepared admission package will be considered. The students who have not graduated by the admission deadline are still eligible, provided that the rest of the admission documents are properly prepared.
  • English Language Requirements: -TOEFL – the minimum required score is 75 from the internet-based test. The TOEFL result must be sent directly to the University of Tartu by the Educational Testing Service. TOEFL institutional code for the University of Tartu is 0133. If a candidate has ordered his/her TOEFL test result to be sent directly to the University of Tartu, the score can be checked online before the paper reaches UT; -IELTS (academic) – the minimum required score is 5.5 (no part can be below 5.5). Copy of the test result is accepted as it will be verified online by UT;
