The Serra Hunter Programme is calling out PhD students keen on gaining outstanding scientific experience to apply for the Lecturer and Associate Professor Positions for the academic year 2022-2023.

All foreign and Spanish nationals are eligible to apply for this position offered at the public universities of Catalonia (Spain). The applicants will need an excellent PhD degree and experience in teaching and working on competitive research projects to be considered. The selected candidates will be appointed to the position with a salary of up to 5 years.

The Serra Hunter Programme promotes hiring highly qualified faculty members with academic records meeting high-level international standards. The programme plan is managed by an Academic Director, a professor of recognized prestige, and an Advisory Board composed of prominent academics.

The Serra Hunter Programme is part of a new academic staff model that the Government of Catalonia is promoting to reinforce the internationalization of the Catalan universities, with the ultimate goal of consolidating Catalonia as the knowledge hub of Southern Europe.  It aims to hire highly qualified faculty staff whose academic records meet international standards in the Catalan public universities.
