About This Course

The necessity to collaborate between various companies, sectors, and industries is one of the biggest challenges in order to create a sustainable supply chain. All around us we see new interesting collaborations: for instance, farmers and car industry collaborating on producing and using bio plastics. Until now, analysis of such network collaborations have hardly been studied and underpinned with hard numbers.

Instructors

Jacqueline Bloemhof

Prof. dr. Jacqueline Bloemhof is Full Professor and Chair of the Operations Research and Logistics Group. Her main field of research is sustainable supply chain management, both in forward chains (food and other agricultural distribution networks) and closed loop supply chains (recycling and recovery of products, parts, materials or energy)

Emiel Wubben

Dr. EFM Wubben is an Associate Professor in Strategic Management at Wageningen University & Research and the chair group of Management Studies. He teaches several courses on agribusiness, Biobased business and Biobased economy.

Jan Vreeburg

Jan Vreeburg is an expert in the field of distribution of potable water, water quality in the networks, asset management and new concepts for design and operation of networks.
