Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training at Master’s degree level. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. The application deadline is 15 August 2014.
Developing Solutions Masters Cuba Scholarships
Cuba scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Nottingham in Malaysia. 15 awards of 100% tuition fee scholarships are offered. Cuba scholarships are available for students registering for taught master’s programmes at Malaysia Campus in areas related to science, technology and education. Intermediate Fellowships for Developing Countries
Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. The fellowships are awarded for up to five years and provide a basic salary. The University of Edinburgh is offering scholarships for latin American nations. Finnish Government Scholarship Pool for PhD Students
The Finnish Government offers Cuban scholarships of 3-9 months for Doctoral level studies and research at Finnish universities or public research institutes. The Finnish Government Scholarship Pool programme is open to young researchers from all academic fields. In order to be eligible, applicant must successfully apply for a study/research placement at a Finnish university/public research institute. US/Canada Grants for Students of Latin American Countries
Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund is offering award for women applicants of Latin American nations to pursue their degree in the USA and Canada. Applicants must enrolled (in residence) at an accredited U.S. or Canadian educational institution for the academic year 2014-15. RNTC’s Fellowships are available for professional journalism, broadcast training etc. RNTC Fellowships are unlike NFP fellowships Partial: they cover the course fee (up to 50%), not the costs for travel and accommodation.
