2017 Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Advanced Studies (JISP) to Study Abroad
Applications are invited for Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Advanced Studies (JISP) from Japanese nationals obtaining PhD degrees in macroeconomics at a university outside of Japan. Selected scholars must attend a 2-day orientation program at the IMF in Washington D.C., shortly before they begin studies at their respective university. All JISP scholars are required to apply to the IMF’s Economist Program (EP) upon completion of their doctoral studies and to accept an EP position if offered. The application deadline is January 31, 2017.

2017 Master’s Scholarships for International Students at University of Laval in Canada
University of Laval is pleased to offer master’s scholarships to international students of high academic ability for 2017 entry. Scholarships are awarded to undertake postgraduate degree programme at the university. This scholarship of $7,000 per year is renewable once, subject to compliance with the faculty’s criteria of excellence and upon the research director’s recommendation and faculty approval. The application deadline is September 15th, 2016.

WSA’s Study Abroad Scholarship for U.S Citizen, 2016
Each semester, scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate strong passion and motivation for international education. All American undergraduate students with plans to study abroad in Europe are encouraged to apply. Scholarship recipients will be awarded $500 USD in funds toward their semester abroad. All American undergraduate students with plans to study abroad in Europe are encouraged to apply. WSA Europe will award scholarships based on financial need, passion, and merit. The Fall 2016 WSA Cultural Bridge Scholarship deadline is August 1st.

NNI Research Fellowships for International Applicants in Nutrition
Applications are invited for Nutrition Fellowships to enable the young health professionals from developing countries to access postgraduate training through leading institutions. The duration of the training can last up to 12 months. All institutions offering a training programme in the area of Maternal and/or Child Health and Nutrition are eligible to be a host institution. The application deadline is October 1st.

Insight Collaborative Fellowship Program in USA and Abroad, 2017
Applications are invited for one year Insight Fellowship Program to study and promote effective conflict management, make international humanitarian contributions and personal development. The Fellowship includes a $25,000 USD expense allowance to support multiple placements totalling one year, typically in three to four-month blocks. The application deadline is January 6, 2017.

Matsumae International Study Abroad Fellowships
Applications are invited for MIF fellowships to carry out research at selected host institutions in Japan. Approx 20 fellowships are awarded for applicants of non-Japanese nationality who hold a PhD (Doctorate) degree. Fields of study such as natural science, engineering and medicine are given first priority. Applicants indicate the period of Fellowship with the length of stay needed for the Research Project between 3 months to 6 months and the commencing month and ending month between April 2016 to March 2017. PhD Scholarship for New Zealand Students to Study Abroad, 2016
The Royal Society of New Zealand on behalf of the Rutherford Foundation Trust is offering one Ph.D. scholarship for New Zealand students. The scholarship is available to undertake full-time Ph.D. course in any area of science, technology, engineering or mathematics at an eligible international host research institution. The Scholarship will provide a stipend of NZ$25,000 per annum and a further contribution of up to NZ$7,500 per annum towards their course fees for up to a maximum of three years.The application deadline is 5th August 2016.

Predoctoral Fellowships for Historians of American Art to Travel Abroad
Applications are invited for Predoctoral Fellowships for Historians of American Art to Travel Abroad for the year 2016-2017. These predoctoral fellowships are open for US citizens. Fellowships are available to doctoral students for research travel abroad. Fellowships are awarded to students in art history who are studying aspects of art and architecture of the United States, including native and pre-Revolutionary America. The Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts offers up to four fellowships to doctoral students. The amount of the award is dependent on the travel plan, with a maximum of $6,000. Applications must be submitted on or before November 15, 2016, for the period June 2017 through May 2018. They will be reviewed by a selection committee of scholars in American art. These fellowships may not be postponed or renewed.

Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships, 2016-17
The Schlumberger Foundation is inviting applications for the Future Fellowships to study abroad. Fellowships are available to pursue PhD or postdoctoral studies at leading universities abroad. Fellowships are awarded in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Women applicants of a developing country or emerging economy can apply for this Faculty for the Future fellowships. Faculty for the Future grants are based on actual costs for eligible expenses up to a maximum of USD 50,000 per year and may be renewed through to completion of studies subject to performance, self-evaluation, recommendation from supervisors and strong evidence of re-integration plans into the home country. Deadline November 13th.

Generation Study Abroad Excellence and Travel Awards
New Zealand Government is offering generation study abroad awards available for US students to study in New Zealand. To be eligible for these awards, applicants must be 18 years or above at the time of application and be currently enrolled in at least sophomore year at a tertiary institution in the United States of America. NZUEA Awards are given to students for study at one of the eight New Zealand universities and NZITPEA are available for study at participating institutes of technology and polytechnics. Education New Zealand is supporting Generation Study Abroad students with three excellence and travel awards. For study programmes beginning in February/ March 2017 you must apply by 1 December 2016. For study programmes beginning in July 2017 you must apply by 30 April 2017.

 2017 BUTEX awards to Study Abroad
Each year BUTEX awards a number of scholarships to students studying abroad for either a semester or for a whole academic year. The Scholarship is open to all undergraduate students who are affiliated to a BUTEX institution. The value of each scholarship is £500 and will be paid to the winners once they have arrived and registered at their host university. You may be affiliated as an incoming or an outgoing study abroad student. Applications for students studying abroad during academic year 2017/18 are now being accepted and the deadline for all applications will be the 15th June 2017.

2016 Tilburg University Undergraduate Scholarship in Liberal Arts and Sciences
Tilburg University is inviting applications for scholarships in Liberal Arts and Sciences for the academic year 2016-2017. Three scholarships are available for excellent non-EEA students who are admitted to an undergraduate program at the Tilburg School of Humanities (i.e., BA Liberal Arts and Sciences and BA Online Culture: Art, Media and Society). The application deadline is 1 April 2016.

2016 UBC Vantage College Awards for International Students in Canada
University of British Columbia is offering college awards to students beginning their undergraduate studies at UBC in the Vantage One Program at UBC Vantage College. Three types of awards are available: entrance awards include full cost of the student’s first year tuition, excellence awards cover full cost of the student’s academic program and living costs and outstanding student up to $6,000 to outstanding UBC Vantage College students. The awards are made primarily on the basis of academic excellence but financial need will also be taken into account. The application deadline is March 31 2016.

2016 Curtin Canning College Science International Scholarship in Australia
Curtin University is inviting applications for Canning College science international scholarship. The scholarships will be awarded on merit-based. Outcome sent via Official Communications Channel within 6-8 weeks of the scholarship closing date. The application deadline is 11 March 2016.

2016 Al Qasimi Foundation’s Doctoral Research Grants in UAE or Abroad
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation is offering Doctoral Research Grants for applicants of all nationalities in United Arab Emirates or abroad. Applicant must be a current PhD student at an accredited university in good academic standing. The Grant covers all student expenses associated with their field research in the United Arab Emirates, including return airfares, furnished accommodation for up to 12 months, a stipend to cover living costs, and research support. The application deadline is March 1, 2016.

2016 TC Beirne School of Law Scholarships (LLM) at University of Queensland in Australia
The University of Queensland is awarding Law scholarships within the TC Beirne School of Law. These scholarships are available for students enrolled or enrolling full-time in the Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of International Law (MICLaw) programs. The scholarship will take the form of monetary assistance to help with living expenses for 12 months and will be paid in two installments-one during Semester 1 and one during Semester 2. The application deadline is 26 February, 2016.

2016 Business Leader Postgraduate Scholarships at University of Sydney in Australia
University of Sydney is offering up to twenty Business scholarships in one of the eligible Business School Degrees, which includes the Master of Business Administration (MBA). The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding applicants based on their academic achievement, leadership capabilities, ambassadorial potential and motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way. The scholarship covers 50% tuition fees and is tenable for 1.5 to 2 years full-time or 3 to 4 years part-time study. The application deadline is 14 February 2016.

2016 Boren Scholarship to Study Abroad
National Security Education Program (NSEP) is inviting applications for Boren Scholarships for overseas study. Scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate degree in abroad including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East in Geographic areas, languages and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security. Students of USA are eligible for this Boren scholarship. Preference will be given to students who will study abroad for longer periods of time and highly motivated by the opportunity to work in the federal government. Online application should be submitted by February 9, 2016.

Adelaide International Undergraduate Study Abroad Scholarships 
Applications are invited for Adelaide international undergraduate scholarships in any discipline except Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Oral Health and Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience). University of Adelaide provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the program, up to a maximum of four years. The application deadline for students commencing in Semester 2 2016 is 24 June 2016.

2016 The SLA Grant program to Study Abroad
University of Notre Dame, USA offers Summer Language Abroad (SLA) Grant Program for the year 2016. Grant is available for undergraduate or graduate student to pursue foreign language study abroad program. Applicants may propose any foreign language study abroad program that is rigorous, reputable and has been chosen with the help of a Notre Dame SLA Program Faculty Advisor. Students of USA can apply for this SLA grant program. The application deadline is January 22, 2016.

2016 Wigh Fellowships for International Students at Harvard University in USA
The Weatherhead Initiative on Global History (WIGH) at Harvard University is offering Fellowships for international students. This fellowship is funded by a grant from the Volkswagen Foundation. WIGH Fellows are appointed for one year and are provided time, guidance, office space, and access to Harvard University facilities. Fellows will receive an annual stipend of up to $50,000, according to fellows’ needs. The application deadline is December 15, 2015.

2016 Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship to Study Abroad
Applications are invited for Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship to promote advanced study in the fine arts. The fellowships are open to graduates of the College of Fine and Applied Arts of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and to graduates of similar institutions of equal educational standing. Three major Fellowships will be awarded, one up to $20,000 in any field of music; one up to $20,000 in architectural design and history, art and design, theatre, dance, or instrumental or vocal music; and one up to $9,000 in art, architecture, dance, landscape architecture, theatre, or urban and regional planning. Up to three additional Fellowships of lesser amounts may also be granted upon Committee recommendations. The application deadline is December 1.

William Chick Doctoral Scholarship In Architecture to Study Overseas
William Chick Scholarship Trust is inviting applications for one or more doctoral scholarships to undertake doctoral program at either the University of Auckland School of Architecture or an approved institution overseas. Students of New Zealand can apply for these scholarships. Scholarships are available to undertake doctoral program at either the University Of Auckland School of Architecture or an approved institution overseas. One or more scholarships shall be awarded (depending on the availability of funding) as a stipend for a period of up to three years, and will be of the value of up to $22,000 pa. The application deadline is 1st December.

Croucher Fellowships for Postdoctoral Research
Croucher Foundation is inviting applications for Croucher Postdoctoral Research Fellowships available for Hong Kong Applicants for the year 2015/2016. Fellowship is available in the field of natural sciences, medicine or technology. Applicants who are permanent residents of Hong Kong can only apply for these postdoctoral research fellowships. Fellowships can be taken at abroad or approved academic institutions outside Hong Kong. The application deadline is 16th November.

IRP Study Abroad Grants
IRP Foundation is offering research grants for clinical and basic research on CNS Regeneration Neuroprotection and Functional Restoration with special emphasis on the spinal cord. The IRP Foundation finances research projects regardless of the nationality of the researcher and the place of work. Funds for one or two years will be allocated up to 75,000 Swiss Francs for one year and 150,000 Swiss Francs for two years. Applications should be submitted till 31st October.

University of Otago International Research Master’s Scholarship in New Zealand
University of Otago is awarding up to four international scholarships for undertaking a thesis-based master’s program. The scholarship includes NZ$13,000 stipend per annum, international tuition fees waiver (excludes student services fee and insurance). Selection is based predominantly on academic merit and the applicant’s potential for research. The application deadline is 1 October.

2016 Conestoga College International Degree Entrance Scholarships in Canada
Applications are invited for international degree entrance scholarships to assist first-year students attending Conestoga College. This award was created to assist international students who have obtained a minimum of 70% in their top six Grade 12 U or M grades or equivalent who have registered with the International Office with financial need. The application deadline is September 30th each year.

Gini Foundation Grants for Foreign Students
Study Abroad Grants are available for pursuing postgraduate degree at University of Padova. The amount of each grant will not be more than Euro 6,000.00 gross, including travel costs. The amount of the grant is divided in 3 installments. The grants are assigned to support for a period of not more than one year. The application deadline is September 15.

UEM Group Scholarship Programme for Malaysian Students
Applications are invited for UEM Group scholarship from Malaysian Students to pursue undergraduate programme. There are two types of scholarships available i.e. overseas scholarship for a pre-university programme at Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM), before furthering studies at a reputable university overseas, notably UK, US and Australia and local scholarship for undergraduate studies at selected IPTAs/IPTS. Insight Fellowship to Study Abroad
Applications are invited for insight fellowship program for the year 2015 to study in USA and Abroad. Insight Fellowship Program is open for the candidates of all nationalities which funded by sight collaborative. It is a one year fellowship program. The first three-month placement is at the Boston offices of Insight Collaborative and its affiliate, Insight Partners. Fellows are expected to spend the subsequent nine months living and working in countries other than the United States and their home country. These foreign placements are proposed and arranged by the Fellow. The applications deadline is January 15.

Momeni Iranian Scholarships for Graduating High School Students and College Students
Momeni Foundation is offering Iranian scholarships for graduating high school students and full time college students of Iranian descent anywhere in the world. Students planning to attend or attending universities in Iran are encouraged to apply for these scholarships. Every year at least three Scholastic Achievement Scholarships for an amount of $1,000.00 dollars and ten Financial Assistance scholarships for amounts of $500.00 to $1000.00 (US dollars) each, will be awarded. The application deadline is June 30th each year.

Mexican Government Excellence Study Abroad Scholarships
Mexican Government is offering excellence scholarships for overseas study. Scholarships are available for special programs (Visiting Professors, High-level Conferences, Genaro Estrada Scholarship for Specialists in Mexican Studies, Artist Residencies, Media Residencies and Improving the Quality of Mexican Secondary and Higher Education Institutions) at Mexican host institutes. The scholarships are not transferable and cannot be deferred to future years. Two people cannot be awarded a scholarship for the same project. The application deadline is August 14.

IWC Full Masters Study Abroad Scholarships
Applications are invited for IWC scholarships available for high calibre international and domestic candidates. Up to 6 full scholarships will be awarded for enrolling in the Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) program at University of Queensland commencing in Semester 1, 2016. These IWC scholarships include both international and domestic scholarships. The international scholarships further consist of two types of scholarships i.e. Full tuition and full living costs scholarships and one full tuition scholarshipSuccessful candidates will be selected on a merit-basis. The application deadline for international students is 1 August.

Macedonian Government Undergraduate Study Abroad Scholarships
Applications are invited for Macedonian government scholarships available for foreign students to pursue undergraduate studies for the academic 2015/2016 at the University of Information Science and Technology. The scholarships are available to outstanding students, not older than 22 years old. Successful applicants will sign a contract with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia. The contract will stipulate that the scholarship provides funds for the first academic year and subsequently for the rest of the three years of the undergraduate studies, provided that the student ends the first year of studies with satisfactory success rate. Applications should be submitted till July 31

Endeavour Postgraduate Study Abroad Scholarships
Each year Australian Government awards Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship for international students. These are internationally competitive, merit-based scholarships programme. The awards are offered to undertake a postgraduate qualification at a Master’s or PhD level either by coursework or research in any field of study. The award provides financial support up to 2 years for a master’s and up to 4 years for a PhD. Recipients must commence their approved programme after 1 January 2016 but no later than 30 November 2016. Applications will close on 30th June.

IDRC Research Study Abroad Awards
Applications are invited for IDRC research awards available for the citizens of Canada and developing countries who have completed a master’s or doctoral degree at a recognized university. Research award recipients will undertake a one-year paid program of research on the topic they submitted when competing for the award. The award will cover justifiable field research expenses up to CA$20,000 a year. Awardees are considered to be full-time employees of IDRC. Application deadline is May 20.

Governors International Postgraduate Study Abroad Scholarships
Applications are invited for a number of GSA scholarships to undertake postgraduate studies during the 2015-2016 academic year. Each scholarship has its own application criteria, however all scholarship applicants must have met the academic entry requirements for study at the Glasgow School of Art and hold either an Unconditional or Conditional offer letter or e-mail, which must accompany their scholarship application. Applications should be submitted till 29th May.

Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program to Study Abroad
U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is inviting applications for Kennedy-Lugar YES Study Abroad Program available for American high school students and recent graduates to study for one academic year abroad. Citizens of USA can apply for this scholarship. Scholarships are awarded for high school students and recent graduates to study for one academic year abroad. Full scholarships are awarded to study for one academic year.

Hoover Fellowships for International Scholars
Hoover Chair of Economic and Social Ethics is offering fellowships for scholars from outside Belgium, who hold a doctorate or possess equivalent qualifications and are active in the field of economic or social ethics. Scholars with an active interest in the main research themes of the Hoover Chair’s members are particularly welcome. Honorary fellows will be full members of the Hoover Chair for the duration of their stay. Fellows will not receive any stipend, but will be entitled to a contribution to their housing costs of up to EUR 300 per month for duration of up to four months. The application deadline is 10 March.

Principal’s Career Development PhD Study Abroad Scholarships
The University of Edinburgh is inviting application for Principal’s career development PhD scholarships. A total of 50 PhD scholarship for the students, who starting their PhD research at the University in the 2015-2016 academic session will be offered. Each scholarship covers the UK/EU rate of tuition fee as well as a stipend of £14,000. Subject to satisfactory progress, the scholarships are awarded for three years. The application deadline is 3 February.
