University of London is offering masters scholarship for lower and middle income countries students to start their studies in March, 2016. Up to two prestigious scholarships are available to pursue MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies. Scholarship covers the ‘whole fee’ for the programme, comprising two Core Module fees, four Elective Module fees, and the two Dissertation modules fees. The application deadline is  January 15, 2019.

IHRP Emerging Scholar Program at Mahidol University
The Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP) of Mahidol University invites applications for emerging scholar program for undertaking Master of Arts in Human Rights (International Program). The scholarship is intended for students from developing countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The scholar will be expected to fulfill all course and thesis requirements within 18 months from commencement of the program. The scholarship allows for reduced tuition and thesis fees (4,200 Baht per credit to 1,200 Baht per credit each term and a 50 % of the cost of the thesis fee). There is no living allowance. The application deadline is March 31.

Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships
The Leakey Foundation is inviting applications for Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships. These fellowships are intended for scholars and students of a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country. It is limited to two years of support. The maximum award is limited to $15,000 per year. The application deadline is February 15.

Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship
This early career development fellowship program provides early career development and continuing education for library and information science professionals from countries with developing economies. Up to five individuals are selected each year for participation in this intensive four-week Fellowship Program based at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, USA. Fellows visit selected libraries and cultural heritage institutions, meet with leading information professionals and observe OCLC’s governance structure in action. The application deadline is February 12, 2016.

Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship
International Peace Research Association Foundation is awarding up to two Senesh fellowship for women from developing countries. Fellowships are available for applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree, who have been accepted into a graduate program and whose graduate work is to be focused on issues related to the goals of IPRA. The Fellowships provide $5,000 per year for two years for both women, for a total of $10,000 each. Applications are due by January 15, 2016.

EDCTP-TDR Clinical Research and Development
EDCTP and WHO/TDR are jointly implementing clinical fellowships to support researchers and key members of clinical trial research teams from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). WHO/TDR will fund fellows employed by a research institution (home organisation) in any LMICs for placements in pharmaceutical companies and PDPs (host organisations) either in or outside Europe. The application deadlines are 28 January 2016 (Stage 1) and 21 July 2016 (Stage 2: Training plan – EDCTP only).

IFS Individual Research Grants
Applications are invited from early-career scientists in IFS eligible developing countries to apply for IFS Individual Research Grants.  These grants are open to carry out research projects for a period of up to 3 years. An applicant must have at least an MSc/MA and must do the research project in an IFS eligible country. Grants are awarded on merit basis which amounts up to USD 12,000. The deadline for submission of research grant applications is 31st December 2015.

JNCASR-CICS Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for JNCASR-CICS Fellowship Programme to encourage mobility of scientists from developing countries. The Fellowship provides an opportunity for young scientists, teachers and researchers from the developing countries (other than India) to undertake research studies in India. The fellowship covers short-term, participatory research studies in all major disciplines of science and technology including engineering and medical sciences at the Indian Centres of Excellence. Up to 10 Fellowships are provided annually for the duration of three months. The applications deadline is 31st October every year.

Victoria Latin America Doctoral Scholarships
State Government of Victoria in partnership with Victoria’s universities are inviting applications for Latin America doctoral scholarships. The successful applicants will receive a scholarship of AUD$90,000 to cover living expenses over three years and a full fee waiver. The Victoria Latin America Doctoral Scholarships are funded by the State Government of Victoria in partnership with Victoria’s universities. The Victorian Government will contribute AUD$45,000 for the duration of the PhD, with universities contributing the remaining AUD$45,000 and a fee waiver.

Jefferson Fellowships for Journalists in USA and Asia Pacific Region
Applications are invited for Jefferson fellowships available to working print, broadcast and online journalists from the United States, Asia and the Pacific Islands. The funds provide for 10-13 full or partial fellowships, including approximately 4-5 for qualified American journalists and 7-8 for Asia Pacific journalists. Fellowships are awarded for an intensive one-week education and dialogue seminar at the East-West Center in Honolulu followed by two weeks of study tour travel in the Asia Pacific-U.S. region. The application deadline is January 27.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
TWAS-Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is inviting applications for fellowships for visiting researchers. Fellowships are open for scientists from developing countries (other than Malaysia) who wish to pursue advanced research in natural sciences. Fellowships are tenable for a minimum period of one month to a maximum of three months at a school/department of the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. The application deadline is 15 September.

Japan Foundation for UNU PhD Scholarships for Developing Countries, Japan
Applications are invited for UNU scholarships available for applicants from developing countries to undertake PhD program in Sustainability Science. A limited number of PhD scholarships (covering tuition fees and living costs) for a maximum of 36 months are awarded for outstanding applicants who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Applicants must have completed Master’s degree in disciplines related to sustainability studies and have a minimum of 2 years of practical field experience related to UNU-IAS research themes. The application deadline is 30 April.

ISA Call Applications for COMRA Fellowship and Engineering Training Programme
The International Seabed Authority invites applications for training fellowship to provide on-land training opportunities in 2015 for four trainees from developing States. COMRA will pay for a round-trip airline tickets (economy class) for the trainees. Local ground transportation, accommodations, travel insurance and allowance will be also provided by COMRA. Two trainees will receive training in a five-month fellowship programme between March and July 2015 and another two trainees for a six-week engineering training programme between March and April 2015. Both programmes will be undertaken in cooperation with both Second Institute of Oceanography in Hangzhou, China and Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. The application deadline is 20 January.

IGA WGC2015 Short Course Fellowships for Developing Countries in Australia
The International Geothermal Association with support from the World Bank via the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program awards fellowships for developing countries’ citizens to attend the WGC2015 course. The course will take place in Melbourne, Australia from 17-19 April, just prior to the WGC2015. Up to 25 fellowships are available for support up to 2,000 USD each. Targeted participants include mid to upper level management personnel and drilling supervisors. The application deadline is 31st January.

Edinburgh Global Latin-American Masters Scholarships in UK
The University of Edinburgh is inviting application for Latin-American masters scholarships. Six Edinburgh Global Latin American Masters Scholarships are available to students from eligible countries for postgraduate Master’s study in any subject offered by the University academic session. Each scholarship will have a value of £5,000, to be deducted from tuition fees, and will be tenable for one academic year. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh. The application deadline is 1 April.

Rio Tinto Fully Funded Postgraduate Scholarships at University of Dundee in UK
Applications are invited for up to six available fully funded postgraduate scholarships leading to the Master of Laws (LLM) in Mineral Law and Policy. Applicants should already hold a degree of an equivalent standard to at least a good UK upper second class honours degree or higher. The application deadline is 30th April with successful recipients expected to commence study in September so please submit all applications by this date.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is inviting applications for masters fellowships to undertake research training at Master’s degree level. Master’s degrees by distance learning can be supported. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. A period of 12 months should normally be dedicated to undertaking a taught Master’s course at a recognised centre of excellence, combined with up to 18 months to undertake a research project. The application deadline is 7 December.

INSEAD Deepak and Sunita Gupta Endowed Scholarship
INSEAD Business School is inviting applications for Deepak and Sunita Gupta endowed scholarship. Scholarship is available for applicants from emerging/developing countries who can demonstrate proven financial need. Scholarship has a value of up to €25,000. Selection will be based on financial need. The application deadline is 30 November.

Postgraduate Latin America Paraguay Scholarships
Paraguay scholarships are available for pursuing masters’ degree at Nottingham Trent University in UK. Each scholarship is to the value of £4,000. To be eligible, applicants must have been offered a place for one of the School’s Masters’ course to start their studies in September. The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for Paraguayan students. Developing Solutions Masters Paraguay Scholarships
