ASCO Numatics is offering Engineering Scholarships to US students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. Applicants must be entering junior or senior year in a four-year undergraduate degree program or enrolled in a graduate program for the 2013/2014 school year. ASCO Numatics employees and relatives are not eligible for the opportunity . Applicants must be U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident.

The bursaries are merit-based and will be awarded on the candidate’s potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technologies. Scholarship recipients may be eligible for an ASCO Numatics internship.

Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in an instrumentation, systems, electrical, mechanical, or automation discipline at a U.S. educational institution accredited by an agency recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
-For the 2013/2014 school year, applicants must be entering junior or senior year in a four-year undergraduate degree program or enrolled in a graduate program.

-Applicant must have at least an overall GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.

Benefits: Two scholarships of $5,000 are offered. Additionally, ASCO Numatics will make $1,000 grants to the engineering departments of the colleges in which the winners are enrolled. financial aid positions will be paid directly to the recipient’s educational institution.
