King’s College London, Florence Nightingale School of Nursing & Midwifery offers research fellowships for 1 year fixed term. The fellowships are open for International researchers. Eligibility: –First or Masters degree in health or social science or other relevant subject
-PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent research experience
-Computer/word processing skills
-Ability to write to a high standard
-Working knowledge of health care and care delivery
-Effective project management skills
-Skills to undertake qualitative and quantitative data analysis
-Skills to review and synthesise relevant literature
-Experience of conducting research with patients or healthcare professionals
-Experience of conducting data collection and analysis.

Scholarship Description: The Florence Nightingale School of Nursing & Midwifery at King’s College London develops leading-edge nurses and midwives of tomorrow – practitioners, partners, and leaders in their field. The School is ranked as the number one school for nursing in London (Complete University Guide 2012) and is headed by Professor Helen McCutcheon; it has 200 staff spread across five departments and nearly 3,000 students, and a turnover of £20m.
Working to agreed protocols and procedures, the post holder will be expected to contribute to all aspects of research, from conducting literature reviews, to working and liaising with the following partners in research: patients, carers and service users, project steering groups and international collaborators. The work will include writing research proposals, conducting data collection, managing, recording and analysing data and assisting with dissemination of research findings.
