Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: Domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any year of a Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Design conjoint degree in the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, any subject offered by the university.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- The scholarship will be known as the Bachelor of Design Game-Changer Scholarship.
- Students must be enrolled in at least 60 points of Design courses in the year of the award to be eligible for consideration.
- The Scholarship is tenable by international and domestic students. The basis of selection will be an academic achievement (see Note II) and the applicant’s passion for design and how they can be a game-changer in the field, particularly for the benefit of society, as assessed by a personal statement (see Note III).
- The Scholarship will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Dean of the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries (or nominee), the Director of Design (or nominee), and a member of the academic staff from the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries nominated by the Dean.
