Intending to maintain the education of outstanding students in Canada, the University of Guelph is now delivering the Dr. William Cairns Scholarship in Water Resource Engineering for the academic year 2023-2024.

All domestic and international students entering a full-time graduate program in water resource engineering are eligible for the award. The scholarship winner will get one award of up to $5,000.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants can be Canadian-PR-PP, or Non-Canadian-PR-PP is eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a graduate degree in the School of Engineering in any subject offered by the University of Guelph.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants are entering a full-time program in water resource engineering. The scholarship is presented in odd-numbered fiscal years (May to April). This award can be held with one other Engineering Graduate Scholarship.
  • According to the School of Engineering Graduate Committee, selection will be based on the CV and the most innovative Statement of Research Intent.
  • The applicants can be Canadian-PR-PP or Non-Canadian-PR-PP.
