Google News Initiative & European Journalism Centre are inviting applications for the Journalism Fellowships for the academic year 2022-2023 in Europe. The fellowships are available to undergraduate, master, and PhD students who are 18 years of age or older.

In 2020, the European Journalism Center offers 50 Fellowship Placements in 12 European Countries. The fellowship pays the placement of journalism, technology, or design to the students who want to get valuable work experience and make a lifetime contract.

Eligibility 

To be eligible, the applicants must be following all the given criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: Scholarships are available to students from Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and Poland.
  • Entrance Requirements: To be eligible, the applicants must be following all the given criteria: To be eligible you must be at least 18 years old and enrolled at or accepted to an accredited higher education institution or you have graduated in 2020,2021 or 2022. You must be from or live in the same country as the newsroom of your choice.
