Full-Time One Year on Campus Masters Medical Postgraduate Scholarships in UK, 2019

Two scholarships are available for postgraduate full-time one year on campus masters study for eligible programmes offered by the University in the 2018-2019 academic session.

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.

Scholarship Description:

  • Application Deadline: June 25, 2018
  • Course Level: Scholarship is available for postgraduate full-time one year study.
  • Study Subject:  The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis on one of the listed on-campus eligible Human Medical programmes.

    • MSc (by Research) Cardiovascular Biology
    • MSc Human Anatomy
    • MSc (by Research) Integrative Neuroscience
    • MMedSci (by Research) Medical Sciences
    • MPH Public Health
    • MSc (by Research) Reproductive Sciences
    • MSc Science Communication and Public Engagement
  • Scholarship Award: Each scholarship will have a value of £21,200 and will be tenable for one academic year. The scholarship will cover tuition fees of up to £21,200 with any surplus paid as a stipend.
  • Number of Scholarships: Two scholarships are available.
  • Nationality: Open for international students
  • Scholarship can be taken in  the UK

  • Entrance Requirements:
    Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
    It is hoped that students would wish to return to the Developing World on completion of their studies where their work and furthered medical studies will benefit the area.
  • English Language RequirementsAll students of every nationality are required to prove their English language competence. Even native-speakers of English must demonstrate that they meet our minimum language requirements to gain entry to the university. University accepts all of the English language qualifications for entry to the university, including IELTS qualifications from any IELTS test centre. Applicants who require an IELTS test as part of an application for degree-level studies may take this test at any IELTS centre.

How to Apply: In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.  Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
