The Department for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at University of Geneva is inviting applications for PhD fellowship in the area of physical chemistry of polymers. In particular, the current project will focus atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies of the mechanics of polymers on the single molecule level. Earliest starting date is June 1, 2014, or as agreed. Applicants must have masters or diploma in chemistry, physics, or chemical engineering, to be eligible for this fellowship. Experience with AFM and/or knowledge in computer programming represents an advantage.

Eligibility: Prerequisites are masters or diploma in chemistry, physics, or chemical engineering. Experience with AFM and/or knowledge in computer programming represents an advantage. Enthusiasm for top-quality research and teaching is as important as good oral and written communication skills.
