Harvard’s CopyrightX, aka MOOC, is now accepting applications for its 2015 online session, which is its third run after the success of previous two sessions, announced by Nathaniel, an executive from Harvard’s Berkman Center.

( votes)The 12-week networked program, CopyrightX is offered to students every year under the propitious of HarvardX Distance Learning Initiative, Harvard Law School and The Berkman Center of Internet & Society, from the month of January till May.
The program focuses on exposing the present law of copyright, the unending debates related to how law can be reformed, impact of law on industry, entertainment and art.
The program is offered to students through an ultimate blend of assigned readings, recorded lectures, live interactive webcasts, weekly seminars, participants in course examine and online discussions and finding the efficient way in which the copyright law can be regulated and stimulated for creative expression.
Types of courses offered through CopyrightX Community
There are basically three different types of courses offered in this online program
-The Residential Course: The residential course basically focuses on copyright law and the classes are taken by Professor. William Fisher. Over 100 Harvard Law School students enroll for this course.
-The Online Course: This course is categorized into different sections, comprising 25 students in each section. The classes in each section are taken by the experienced Harvard Teaching Fellows.
-The Affiliate Courses: This is an affiliate course that is based in different countries, instead of USA itself. The classes are usually taken by the expert professionals in copyright law.
Admission Procedure
Admission to this MOOC program is totally free and anyone over 13 years of age can enroll in this program. However, it is totally based on first come first basis, which indicates that enrollment to this course is limited.
