To provide an opportunity for fellows to become consultants and headache medicine practitioners, the University of Michigan has decided to award the Headache Medicine Fellowships for the academic year 2022-2023.

This headache medicine fellowship offered by the University of Michigan is a one-year United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) accredited program for diagnosing and treating head and face pain. Students who are U.S. Citizens or hold J-1 visas sponsored through ECFMG are eligible to be considered for this fellowship, where they will be given training on the critical components of the neurological exam and associated pain and headache syndromes.
