International Agriculture Education Fellowship

The International Agriculture and Education Fellowship Program (IAEFP) offers several fellowships to students in the USA who are studying agricultural subjects. The award amount is a monthly stipend to cover living costs, and all IAEFP-related expenses are covered by the program.

The International Agriculture Education Fellowship Program (IAEFP) in Guatemala provides the perfect opportunity to do just that. Fellows deployed to Guatemala in January of 2023 will work alongside community leaders to target community agriculture development needs. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and knowledge while helping others learn about the importance of agriculture.

Eligibility

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to speak fluent Spanish
  • A completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university on or before January 2023
  • Ability to pass a physical exam by a licensed physician
  • Ability to hold a passport and travel internationally
  • Have experience with 4-H, FFA, or develop a plan to acquire the experience
  • A degree in agriculture or extensive coursework in agriculture
