Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: British and foreign students can both apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The students can apply for a PhD via MPhil in Astrophysics at the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute at the University of Central Lancashire.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must not currently be studying as a Research students at UCLan.

  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • A research proposal
  • Copies of first degree/master’s degree qualification certificates and transcripts
  • A copy of your current passport and current visa, if applicable

  • Admission Requirements: The applicants should have (or expect to hold) a UK Bachelor of Science degree at 2:1 or above in a related area (or equivalent qualification), or a Masters level qualification (e.g. MSc or MPhys).
