- Candidates must have aged 18 – 30 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2021.
- Demonstrated leadership capacity.
- Students must have skills: enthusiastic, pro-active, creative, eager to improve, not afraid to change the status quo, team player, good communicator, and project management.
