The Consular Corps of the Province of Liège has established an annual prize to be awarded for work carried out at the University of Liège during the last two academic years. Applications are open at ULiège Foundation.

The main objective of the prize is to arouse and encourage young graduate students’ vocations for diplomatic life or research careers related to this field. The subject of the work will concern “INTERNATIONAL, BILATERAL OR MULTINATIONAL ISSUES within the defined framework.”

  • Eligible Countries: The Consular Corps of the Province of Liège currently represents these countries: Germany, Austria, Benign, Bulgaria, Central Africa, Chile, Korea, Ivory Coast, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Guatemala, Guinea, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Fruit salad, Malaysia, Malawi, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Norway, The Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Swiss, Suriname, Chad, Czech Republic, Thailand, and Uruguay.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The Scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • The works’ authors must be or have been students at the University of Liège.
  • Applicants cannot have previously won a prize for the same work.
  • The work must have been carried out at the University of Liège or as part of an exchange between ULiège and another University.
  • Suppose the work is part of a university test (end-of-study work or other). In that case, it cannot be presented before the Academic Jury has pronounced itself favorably.

  • a summary of no more than five pages
  • a CV including the full list of publications
  • professional situation
  • the work presented
  • Admission Requirements: For the Prize to be awarded during the 2022-2023 academic year, the work must have been carried out either in 2020-2021 or 2021-2022.
  • Language Requirement: English skills are required: writing, speaking, and reading. An extensive French summary must accompany works in a language other than French.

Benefits

The amount of the prize is 5,000 EUR. The prize cannot be awarded for published work.
