The University of Tsukuba is excited to announce its Mabuchi International Scholarship Foundation for overseas candidates. This grant is open for the academic year 2023/2024.

The educational programme seeks to support talented and deserving students who want to undertake an undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Tsukuba.

Tsukuba University is one of Japan’s most prestigious national universities, located in Tsukuba, Ibaraki (established by the Japanese Government). The university has 28 academic clusters and colleges of approximately 16,500 students (as of 2014). A region of 258 hectares (636 acres) covers the main Tsukuba campus, making it the second-largest single campus in Japan.

Why study at the University of Tsukuba? Working adults can enroll in graduate programs at the university, which also runs university-affiliated K-12 schools in Tokyo. STEMM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine), physical education, and interdisciplinary fields linked to it are the university’s educational strengths.
