Maple’s Scholarship Program

To support students with disability who may have additional obstacles to overcome in accessing tertiary education, Maple Community services have organized the Maple’s Scholarship Program for the academic year 2022-2023.

This scholarship is specific to Australian national or permanent resident students. Any person who identifies as having a disability and Maple Community Services Staff or Client is eligible to participate in Maple’s Scholarship Program. They can undertake degree education in an Australian institute of education and be able to secure $5,000 for 12 months.

Maple's Scholarship Program

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All Australian national and permanent resident students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for degree programs offered in Medicine, Aged Care, Personal Care, Therapies, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Social Sciences, Community Services, or another category that falls within the medical, health/wellbeing, justice-related or services industry at Australian higher education institutes.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have a disability and be a current Maple Community Services Client or be a current Support Worker or Management Staff Member with Maple Community Services.
  • The applicants must be Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Residents.
  • The applicant must be accepted into or be enrolled in tertiary study in Australia. In need of financial support.
  • The applicants must enroll or look into tertiary study in Australia for 2023.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: All interested students must download and complete the application form post enrolling and admission to an Australian institution of choice in the desired study program.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Academic Merit
  • Financial Situation
  • Personal Statement
  • Course of study
  • Previous academic performance
  • Reference letter
  • Letter of Enrolment or Admittance into an educational institution
  • Admission Requirements: Students must meet the academic and entry requirements of the university they wish to join.
  • Language Requirement: The students must meet the language requirements of their respective universities. CAE, CPE, TOELF IBT, IELTS, PTE, etc. exam scores can be provided as proficiency proof.

Benefits

The Maple Community services will award the selected candidates $5,000 for 12 months of education.
