Penang Future Foundation is inviting applications for programme from Malaysian to undertake full-time undergraduate studies at public and private universities (IPTA & IPTS) in Malaysia.

PFF is a program awarded by Penang State Government to outstanding and deserving Malaysians to pursue a first full-time undergraduate degree in Malaysia.

The objective of Penang Future Foundation (PFF) is to encourage Malaysians to pursue higher education in line with attracting and retaining talents in Penang.

Penang Future Foundation, made possible by donations from private sectors and individuals, is a program awarded by the Penang State Government to outstanding and deserving Malaysians to pursue their undergraduate studies in Malaysia.

Description:  

  • Application Deadline: June 21, 2018
  • Course Level: The studentships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.
  • Study Subject: MQA fully-accredited courses in Science*, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and Accountancy/ Finance
  • *Exclude Medicine.
  • Award: Depending on the category of scholarship, the ‘PFF Penang Scholar’ sponsors tuition fee up to RM 100,000 with a monthly living allowance of RM 1,000; the ‘PFF Mutiara Scholar’ sponsors tuition fee up to RM 60,000 with a monthly living allowance of RM 600.

Eligible Countries: Malaysian students are eligible to apply for this application programme.

Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for this application you must meet the following requirements:

Penang Scholar

  1. Minimum CGPA of 3.67 in STPM/ Foundation/ Matriculation/ Diploma/ UEC & equivalent; or
  2. Currently pursuing an undergraduate course in Malaysia IPT with minimum CGPA of 3.67; and
  3. Household income not more than RM 15,000per month (equivalent to RM 180,000annualized); and

*Parents’ 2 years tax return/ BE Form must be attached*

  1. Malaysian 25 years or younger

Mutiara Scholar

  1. Minimum CGPA of 3.00in STPM/ Foundation/ Matriculation/ Diploma/ UEC & equivalent; or
  2. Currently pursuing an undergraduate course in Malaysia IPT with minimum CGPA of 3.00; and
  3. Household income, not more than RM 5,000 per month (equivalent to RM 60,000 annualized); and

*Parents’ 2 years tax return/ BE Form must be attached*

  1. Malaysian 25 years or younger
