A PhD studentship is available in the laboratory of Dr. Suresh Mishra to investigate the mechanisms involved in the relationship between prohibitin and sex steroid hormones in adipose tissue homeostasis and metabolic regulation in the body.

Preference will be given to recently graduated Masters’ student with background in physiology and biochemistry, or endocrinology. Successful candidates are expected to be experienced in basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques. A prior experience working with rodent models is an asset.
