The University of Portsmouth is delighted to offer the fully-funded 3-year scholarships for full-time PhD program starting in October 2019. The Portsmouth Global PhD Scholarships are open to all international students (non-EEA). The purpose and values of the Centre are to promote the development of professionalism.

  • a portfolio (for specific courses)
  • professional experience (if relevant)
  • English language qualifications (if English isn’t your first language)
  • Eligible Countries: All countries around the world
  • Entrance Requirements: before you apply, you’ll need to have the following supporting documentation ready:
  1. personal statement
  2. research proposal (if required) or the project code (if you are applying for a pre-defined project)
  3. Proof of your first degree and grades (officially certified and translated copies if not in English)
  4. Details of 2 referees or 2 references on official headed paper, one of which should be an academic reference
  5. Proof of your English language proficiency (if English is not your first language)
  6. An up-to-date copy of your CV
