• Admission Requirements: The applicants should have a first-class or upper second class honors degree, or a master’s degree (or equivalent qualification), in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering or relevant area to be accepted in a PhD degree programme under this scholarship.
• Language Requirement: The applicants must attain minimum required scores on the following English language proficiency tests:
• IELTS – 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component

Benefits

The institute will provide the winners a position in a PhD degree programme of their choice worth RMB 80,000 per annum and also give them 5000 RMB towards living expenses for the duration of their study, i.e., three years.
