Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: This project has two MPhil Scholarships available – one in the field of chemistry and one in the field of physics and devices.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Apply and be offered a place in QUT’s Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
  • Commence your studies by the end of March 2022
  • Have experience in transistor fabrication and characterisation experience.

Physics and Device-based Project Applicant Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A master degree in physics or organic electronics
  • A bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Transistor fabrication and characterization experience
  • A background in organic transistors device geometries and mechanical properties will be acknowledged
  • An excellent level of English.

Chemistry based Project Applicant Requirements

Applications must have:

  • A master degree in chemistry
  • A bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Organic and polymer synthesis experience
  • A background in organic electronic materials and characterisation
  • An excellent level of English.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the scholarships, applicants first have to take admission in a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree coursework at the Queensland University of Technology. After getting enrolled, they must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for consideration prior to applying for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: Must submit an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV), including recent IELTS or equivalent score for international applicants
  • Two detailed letters of reference (including one from the supervisor of your bachelor/master thesis)
  • A letter of justification as to why you are suitable for the scholarship, including your motivation for applying.
