Intermediate Fellowships for Developing Countries in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Research should be aimed at understanding and improving public health and tropical medicine of local, national and global relevance. Fellows must be based primarily in a low- and middle-income country. The fellowships are awarded for up to five years and provide a basic salary which will be based on the pay scales of the employing institution or allowances and cover research expenses, training costs.
Application Deadline: Preliminary application deadline: 28 November 2016 and Full application deadline: 13 February 2017.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships in UK
University of Nottingham is inviting applications for developing solutions masters scholarship available for the students of Africa, India or one of the listed countries of the Commonwealth. Applicants must already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes at Nottingham for September 2016. Up to 105 scholarships are awarded. Up to 30 scholarships will cover 100% tuition fee and up to 75 scholarships will cover 50% towards tuition fees.
The application deadline is March 24, 2017.

American College of Surgeons International Guest Scholarships
The American College of Surgeons is offering international scholarships to young surgeons from countries other than the United States or Canada who have demonstrated strong interests in teaching and research. Applicants must submit their applications from their intended permanent location. Applications will be accepted for processing only when the applicants have been in surgical practice, teaching, or research for a minimum of one year at their intended permanent location, following completion of all formal training (including fellowships and scholarships).
The application deadline is July 3, 2017.

Joseph Lister Scholarships For Masters Students
For September 2015 academic session University of Glasgow is offering 5 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards the tuition fee of a one year Masters programme. Masters scholarships are open for the students from Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico or Thailand within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic excellence and personal achievement. Applicants must be a conditional or unconditional offer holder in order to be considered.

UCL Excellence Fellowships for International Researchers in UK
The University College London awards excellence research fellowships to early career researchers from across the globe. A number of fellowships are available in 2015 across the full range of disciplines in life and medical sciences. In addition, two fellowships are available in specific subject areas: one of these will be in the field of neurodegeneration and a further fellowship will be appointed within experimental medicine. Fellows are provided with a competitive salary and research expenses for three years.
The application deadline: The 2017 round is expected to open in May 2017.

Wellcome Trust Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is inviting applications for masters fellowships to undertake research training at Master’s degree level. Master’s degrees by distance learning can be supported. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. A period of 12 months should normally be dedicated to undertaking a taught Master’s course at a recognised centre of excellence, combined with up to 18 months to undertake a research project. The application deadline is 7 December.

Department of Social Science, Health and Medicine Bursaries for International Students
King’s College London is awarding masters bursaries for international students within the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine beginning in September 2015. Each Bursary has a value of £2,000. The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of the assessments of three criteria: 1. Previous academic performance; 2. relevant experience where appropriate; 3. personal statement indicating reasons for applying to a particular programme. The application deadline is 29th May.

PAMAPS Postgraduate Scholarship for African Medical and Dental Doctors
Applications are invited from African Medical and Dental Doctors for PAMAPS (Postgraduate Academic Mobility for African Physicians-Scientists) project. The PAMAPS Project is a mobility programme in the area of postgraduate medical academic specialities. Scholarships are available to individuals who studied medicine, dentistry and purity clinical-related specialties to pursue postgraduate academic degree outside their country of birth/nationalities. The application deadline is 31th January.

Doctor of Medicine Scholarships in Iran
Tehran University of Medical Sciences is inviting applications for scholarships to undertake Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Program for the academic year 2016. TUMS offers two types of scholarships: Type C and Type B scholarships for the duration of at least 7 years. Classes during the first 2 years of the program are held in English, but the rest of the M.D. program (the third year onwards) will be held in Persian. Applicants can apply before 31st October.

IMU Scholarships for Malaysian and International Students
Applications are invited for IMU scholarships available for both Malaysian and international undergraduate students. These scholarships will be awarded to students demonstrating outstanding academic excellence, extra curriculum participation and leadership qualities. There will be two types of scholarships available: full tuition fee (100%) for full duration of programme and partial tuition fee (50%) for full duration of programme. Students are required to maintain the required minimum cGPA of 3.50 per semester in order to continue with the scholarship. Scholarships application will be strictly by invitation only upon submission of admission application to a specific programme at IMU.

Foulkes Foundation Medical Fellowship in UK
The Foulkes Foundation invites applications for Fellowships from recently qualified scientists and medical graduates. The Fellowships, which cover personal maintenance only (do not cover fees), are awarded for up to three years and are tenable in the United Kingdom only. Fellowships are available for outstanding post-doctoral scientists in the form of financial support, it gives exceptional scientists a unique opportunity to study medicine and become the research leaders of the future. The application deadline is 15th March.

National Health Scholars Programme (NHSP) PhD Scholarships
Applications are invited for National Health Scholars Programme (NHSP) PhD Scholarships for doctoral research to be conducted in South Africa or abroad. This programme is aimed at postgraduate students i.e. to study towards PhD as well as academic staff members in Faculties of Health Sciences, Research Councils, Government Departments and other organisations who wish to commence or complete PhD training on a full-time basis. The scholarship will be awarded for a period ranging from one to four years as a tax free scholarship for full-time study in a chosen field. The closing date for applications is 30th October.

Croucher Fellowships for Postdoctoral Research Applicants
The Croucher Foundation is inviting applications for Croucher fellowships for postdoctoral research applicants. All applicants must disclose offers of financial support received, or likely to be received, from other sources. Applicants and Fellowship holders must keep the Foundation informed of the progress of applications for support from other sources. SA Medical Women’s Society Scholarships for Australians
The South Australian Medical Women’s Society is inviting applications for SA Medical Women’s Society Scholarships for Australians. These Scholarships are open to female students who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia and undertaking a clinical elective in either a developing country or in an indigenous community within Australia, as part of their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery program of study at the University of Adelaide. Aarhus Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET Center PhD Fellowship
The Aarhus University invites applications for a PhD fellowship at Department of Nuclear Medicine & PET – Imaging the pathology and progression of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease. The position is available for a 3-year period, commencing 1 February 2016, for applicants holding a relevant master´s degree. The candidate should be interested in developing a career in Neurology, Psychiatry or Nuclear Medicine. Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team, and fluency in English are required. The application deadline is 1st October.

Global Scholarships for Excellence at University of Birmingham in UK
University of Birmingham is offering number of Global Scholarships for Excellence for the students of EU, Overseas (Non-EU), UK. Award is open to all applicants who have applied to study on one of the College of Medical and Dental Sciences Masters courses (full-time or part-time), or the Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma programme, starting in 2015/16. The value of each award is £2,000 to be off-set against tuition fees is tenable for one year only and cannot be deferred to a later year. The application deadline is 27th May.
