  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The PhD will be awarded in the following research areas: Automated Software Verification, Description Logics, Epistemic logic in distributed computing, Explainable AI, Fixed-Parameter Algorithms and Complexity, Formal Verification of hybrid systems, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Model Checking, Modeling and analysis of digital integrated circuits, Normative Reasoning, Ontology-based Data Access, Security and Privacy, Scheduling and logic programming, Study of the Interaction between rules from a knowledge base and rules arising from machine learning, Topology in distributed computing and Quantified Boolean Formulas
  • Admissible Criteria: To be considered for the grant, the applicants must have a master’s degree from a recognized university.
