  • How to Apply: There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application.
  • The award is automatically awarded to all international applicants who apply for a full-time Masters’s course at the School of Engineering and Informatics starting in September 2023.
  • Apply to Sussex using the postgraduate application system
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit a personal statement as part of their application.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have qualifications that should be related to their chosen master’s course. Applicants may also be considered for the course if they have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
  • Language Requirement: IELTS (Academic): Standard level (6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in each component).
  • If applicants are international students, they need to meet the English language requirements or complete a pre-sessional English course.

Benefits

The University of Sussex will provide a partial fee waiver of £2,000 awarded towards overseas tuition fees. The award will be reflected in the applicants’ Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), which they will need to apply for their Student visa.
